Mercy and I were married at the Oasis Resort near Guiuan, Eastern Samar on August 17, 2008. The wedding took place during her family reunion, and was the day after the annual Asgad Fiesta. Although it was monsoon season and the skies were overcast most days, for some reason on our wedding day the cloud cover disappeared and the sun came out bright and HOT!
